Gather your supplies: a timer, sticky notes, a writing instrument, and your RediSets worksheet.


Lay out all of the cards on the table prompt-side up.


Set the timer for 5 minutes. Have everyone answer as many prompts as possible using their sticky notes — one idea per note — and place the notes near their corresponding prompt card.


Set the timer for 20 minutes. Read the responses and discuss. Ask why the participants wrote their statements. Look for connections and themes.
As a group, narrow down the ideas to 4–6 major themes. Give each theme a name and use the statements as a description. Use the worksheet to record the results as written statements.
